""Love Marriage ya Arranged marriage" explores the debate between love marriages and arranged marriages without taking sides. It states that marriage is an everyday partnership where sometimes you need to arrange the love and at other times you have to love the arrangement. It looks at this concept through the story of two best friends - Mansi and Shivani, who are polar opposite in their attitudes and belief, but have the same passion, and commitment towards their relationships and a happy marriage. Mansi and Shivani are best friends. Mansi comes from a well to do family, very feminine and every Indian man's ideal wife. She is conservative and maintains that she will marry whoever her parents chooses for her. Shivani is the antithesis of Mansi. She comes from a humble family, she is aggressive and guys look at her more like a buddy than a girl, yet she is not a tomboy. She has taken charge of the household, making her independent. She has a shop named "Shagun-Shaadi Ka", in which she sells everything in regards to marriage like utilities, arranging brass-band, ghodi and so on and so forth. However, unlike Mansi, she fancies a love marriage yet their friendship remains strong as ever. A marriage in India is not just between two people but the entire family. Going through the ups and downs and beautiful moments in marriage many ties may break, while many special bonds are formed."
