Samarendra's mother blames Anshuman for her son's death. Alo comforts Anshuman when he feels disheartened and breaks into tears on his grandmother's allegation. Alo admits to Anshuman that she had never thought that revealing the truth will result in someone's death. On Surekha's request, Biman and Dhiman take Samarendra's body for cremation without informing Anshuman.
