Shiladevi, a distressed mother has regularly been tortured by her sons for division of her property. On further torture, she is compelled to divide the property among her sons. Later, they drive her away and refuse to give any money to her. Her daughters hire a lawyer. But, as the court proceeding starts, Shiladevi dies of heart attack and the police have to close the case prematurely.

Pari stays with her brother, Sibu and works at an NGO. Sibu and his wife assault Pari on her reluctance to transfer a piece of land - a gift from her father. Pari's colleagues file a complaint against Sibu after learning about Pari's disappearance. On interrogating Sibu, he reveals to the police that he took Pari's thumb impression on the land documents after tranquilizing her and later sold her to a businessman in Delhi. Police find Pari in Delhi after tracking down Sukhen, a pimp.
